크리스마스 직전에 웰링턴 도그 푸드 뱅크를 시작한 타이라 바실리카타는 올해 초부터 이미 200마리 이상의 개에게 700kg 이상의 사료를 제공했습니다.수요가 많아 집 앞까지 음식을 배달하는 것에서 사람들이 찾아오는 모바일 서비스로 전환해야 했다.

Basilicata의 고객 중 상당수는 풀타임으로 일하지만 여전히 생계를 유지하는 데 어려움을 겪고 있습니다.어떤 사람들은 개 사료를 먹은 날에는 음식을 먹지 않고 지내기도 합니다.

Clark과 Rush는 원치 않는 개나 방치, 학대를 당하는 개들의 수를 줄이기 위한 교육 프로그램을 앞으로 몇 달 안에 시작할 계획입니다.이 프로그램은 어린이들에게 반려견의 안전과 동물 관리에 대해 가르치며 백신 접종과 성관계 제거의 중요성을 강조할 예정이다.
