Performers, singers and dancers are needed for Hamilton’s Christmas concert on November 26.
The concert organisers are encouraging children and adults to submit videos of their acts via Facebook.
The event, to be held at Garden Place, will run from 6 pm until about 8:45 pm. Once dark, a 27-metre Christmas tree will be illuminated.
Hamilton Christmas Charitable Trust Chair Russell Brown said that it was heart-warming to be planning a Christmas event this year, following the cancellation of last year’s event due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Last year, we could light up the tree but the concert itself had to be cancelled as we were unable to hold larger events”
“We really want to see an amazing list of local talent take to the stage that night – let’s see what Hamilton has for us,” he said.
Performers can send a video of their act via a message to the Hamilton Christmas Facebook page.
