There are only five days left to donate new, unwrapped toys for the Kindness Collective’s Christmas collection in Tauranga, Rotorua, and Waihi. Mitre 10 has partnered with Kindness Collective to help bring joy to families in need across New Zealand this Christmas.
People can donate new toys at Mitre 10 stores until December 10. The toys will be given to local children to make their Christmas special. Collection bins are available at Mitre 10 MEGA stores in Tauranga, Rotorua, and Waihi.
The Kindness Collective works with community partners and social services to distribute the toys to children in the local community. They also run Christmas Joy Stores in Auckland and Hawkes Bay. These stores allow parents in need to choose free gifts for their children.
The Kindness Collective, winner of the 2023 Mitre 10 Community of the Year award, and Mitre 10 are working together to support New Zealand communities. They are involved in various projects, including building communal food gardens and outdoor play spaces, and bringing Christmas joy to thousands of children.
