Bruce Lewis, the organizer of the BOP Mustang Owners Club 2023 All USA Day, has declared the event a major success. The event, held in Tauranga on November 12, attracted more than 3,500 attendees.
The day was not only successful in terms of attendance but also in its charitable contribution. “We managed to donate $2,000 to the Tauranga Women’s Refuge,” Bruce said. He also noted that approximately 150 cars were on display at the Classic Flyers venue.
Carole Seymour, a fellow committee member, highlighted the significant volunteer turnout for the event. “We had about 40 volunteers on the day,” she said. The event was also supported by three main sponsors: Repco, Ultimate Ford, and Mag&Turbo Tauranga.
“We were well-supported and are excited about doing it all again next year!” she added.
Bruce emphasized that the club, which was founded in 2002, is not just for car enthusiasts. “The club is about celebrating the Mustang and driving it. We also have a strong social aspect. We go on drives, stop at cafes and places of interest, and aim to make our show family-friendly,” he explained.
