Person dies in North Canterbury quad bike crash

A person died in a quad bike accident in North Canterbury on Sunday evening. The crash happened around 5:30 PM on Springbank Road in Swananoa, about 30 minutes from Christchurch.

Police arrived at the scene and found one person dead. The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the incident. Emergency services, including Hato Hone St John, also responded to the crash.

Police stated that their investigation is ongoing, and the case will be reported to the Coroner.
