Three lucky players from Tauranga have each won $19,281 in the Lotto Second Division during Saturday night’s live Lotto draw. The winning tickets were bought from Paper Plus Mt Maunganui, My Pharmacy Papamoa Plaza, and New World Gate Pa.
Two other players from Auckland and Christchurch also had a lucky night, each winning $500,000 in the Lotto First Division. Their winning tickets were bought from New World Albany in Auckland and Pak N Save Moorhouse in Christchurch.
The Powerball jackpot was not won on Saturday and has now increased to $10 million for Wednesday night’s draw. The Strike Four prize also rolled over and will be $1 million on Wednesday. If no single ticket wins the First Division in a Strike Must Be Won draw, the prize pool is added to the next highest division with a winner.
In addition to the three Tauranga winners, 11 other players also won $19,281 in the Lotto Second Division. Two players also won the Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $28,159. The winning Powerball Second Division tickets were sold at Palomino Supervalue and Fresh Choice Glen Eden in Auckland.
The winning Second Division tickets were sold at various locations including Whangārei, Auckland, Waikato, Tauranga, Papamoa, Palmerston North, Paraparaumu, Christchurch, Canterbury, Timaru, and Wyndham. Players who bought their tickets from these stores should check their tickets as soon as possible.
