Weather Watch predicts the week to begin with clear skies and frosty nights over the next few days.
The North Island will enjoy pleasant and dry conditions for most of the week. It will start off with cold nights and calm weather, ending with milder days and nights.
An anticyclone, which is currently hovering directly above New Zealand, will bring frosts, light winds and some low clouds at the beginning of the week. This will then drift to the east of the country, allowing subtropical winds to sweep the country with warmer than average temperatures.
