토요일 밤 늦게 웰링턴 킬버니에 있는 CareVets 캐터리에서 화재가 발생했습니다.주인인 닉 쿠퍼 (Nick Cooper) 는 고양이 두 마리가 아직 실종되었지만 네 마리의 고양이가 건물에서 탈출했다는 사실을 확인했다.쿠퍼는 실종된 고양이 두 마리를 찾기 위해 병원 곳곳에 인간적인 덫이 설치되어 있다고 전했다.그는 도망친 고양이 네 마리 중 두 마리를 이미 잡았다고 말했습니다.

한 마리를 제외한 모든 고양이 주인에게 연락이 왔습니다.소방서 및 응급 당국자들은 사육장이 심하게 손상되었다고 말했습니다.그들은 3년 전에 이 건물에서 또 다른 화재가 발생했다는 사실을 알아냈습니다. 담배로 인해 일부 잔해에 불이 붙었기 때문이었습니다.

쿠퍼는 이전 화재는 한 세입자가 데크 아래에 있는 일부 식물 근처에 불을 붙인 담배를 버린 것에 의해 시작되었다고 설명했습니다.이 건물에는 약 31년 동안 사육장이 있었습니다.그는 팀원들이 이 어려운 시기에 헌신적이고 지지해 주었다고 말하면서 화재 발생과 화재 이후 노고에 대해 칭찬을 아끼지 않았습니다.
