Hastings District Council manages a range of grants and funding opportunities which are available to community groups and, in some cases, individuals, all with specific criteria designed to enhance the lives of residents through events, programmes, services, and facility improvements.
All of the grants are contestable so the success of your application will depend on how well your project fits with the criteria, the priority of the type of project compared with the others, and the grants money available for allocation. All applications are now submitted and managed via our onlineGrants Portal
Successful recipients of council grants or funding will receive a Funding Agreement or a Contract for Service. Upon completion of the project the applicant will need to account for how they have spent funds and share what they have achieved and learnt. Accountability and acquittal reports are also submitted and managed by logging onto your account via our onlineGrants Portal.
