Who Can Use the Library?

Our library is open to everyone, whether you are a resident or a visitor to the area. All you need to do is register for a library card, which is free of charge. To register, please visit our library or fill out an online application on our website. You will need to provide proof of identity and address.

Services Available:

We offer a range of services to cater to your reading, learning, and entertainment needs. Our Reserve, Click and Collect service allows you to order books from our online catalogue or using our library app, and we will confirm your pick-up time when the items are available. If you prefer a surprise selection of books, you can also order a Bag o’ Books, selected by our librarians, for free. For those who need resources outside of our collections, we offer an Interloan service where we can source materials from other libraries in New Zealand and Australia. We also provide a Housebound service for members who are unable to visit the library due to illness or frailty, where our staff will select and deliver items fortnightly.

Facilities Available:

Our library has a range of facilities to enhance your library experience. We have public computers, printing, photocopying, and scanning services available for a small fee. Our library also has a dedicated children’s area, quiet study spaces, and meeting rooms for hire.
