The Labour party and leader Jacinda Ardern have seen a sharp drop in support in the latest political poll.
In the Newshub Reid Research poll, support for Labour dropped to just over 32 percent, down nearly six points since April. It is the lowest result since Ardern took over as leader in 2017.
The National party is polling better, up slightly to 40 percent.
ACT and the Greens have both picked up support. ACT and National now have enough seats between them to form a government.
In the preferred Prime Minister poll, Ardern dropped to just under 30 percent and National’s Christopher Luxon is down a few points to 21.5 percent.
The poll was conducted between 25 October and 3 November, and reports a margin of error of 3.1 percent.
