Whilst South Waikato might not be at the top of your holiday destination list this Summer, it most certainly should be considered.

Take a picnic and stroll along the 4.7 kilometre track and enjoy the natural environment.
The 46 Talking Poles in the township of Tokoroa offer you the opportunity to learn about the district’s forestry heritage. The poles are made of pine and other local woods.
After a fun day exploring, relaxing at one of the district’s many accommodation offerings is a must.
With its heritage and charm the Okoroire Hot Springs Hotel, near Tirau is the perfect location to relax. The completely natural and organic, famous hot springs have been enjoyed by generations of people.
