狗控制信息

合规官员可以向狗的主人或看似控制狗的人索取详细信息,包括全名、出生日期、地址、电话号码和工作地点。他们还可能要求提供狗的名称、性别和描述。不提供这些信息是犯罪行为。

除非在特殊指定的狗狗运动区域,所有狗都必须在任何公共场所拴上牵引绳。如果不这样做,可能会被立即罚款。详细介绍狗狗运动区的小册子可以从市议会办公室获取。在没栓牵引绳区域,狗必须处于语音控制之下。

您的狗必须在人的直接控制下,或限制在房产内。如果不这样做,可能会被立即罚款。在没有围栏的地产上,狗必须被关在笼子里或有人直接控制。市议会有权在认为适当的情况下抓捕和扣押任何狗。

狗主人有义务在每年 7 月 31 日之前登记所有超过 3 个月大的狗。

注册年度为 7 月 1 日至次年 6 月 30 日。必须在 7 月 31 日 * 之前支付全额费用,否则罚款将于 8 月 1 日生效 * 。

根据 2003 年《狗管制修正案》,您的狗未注册可能导致侵权罚款(请参阅费用和收费)和/或法院罚款。注册为导盲犬和/或助听犬的辅助犬不收取注册费。
如果您是养狗人,没有全额支付您狗的注册费,或者拖欠了约定的每周付款,那么您将收到因狗未能注册而带来的侵权行为。请理解,如果您仍然不合规,且您的侵权行为已经通过法院系统,那么合规官员有义务抓捕您的狗并扣押它们,直到狗的注册余额全额付清。作为那只狗的主人,你将承担扣押费和生活费。

微芯片

一名合规干事将处理这种情况。如果您的投诉性质严重,如狗攻击,请尽快打电话。不要等到第二天,时间至关重要。
由于品种的特点,比特犬和杂交比特犬被要求归类为 “威胁性狗”。如果观察到或被报告有不适当的攻击行为,市议会可以将任何狗归类为 “危险狗”。在公共场所,有威胁性的狗和危险狗必须在任何时候都戴嘴套和拴上牵引绳,除非它们完全在车内。

狗攻击

狗攻击是不可接受的。市议会有权抓捕攻击人或其它动物的狗。如果你、你认识的人或你的宠物遭到狗的攻击,请立即联系市议会,合规官员将进行调查。同样,不要拖延。

吠叫的狗

吠叫是狗正常的行为,是允许的。但是,狗持续大声吠叫或嚎叫来制造滋扰是犯罪行为。在造成滋扰的情况下,市议会有权坚持要求责任人立即采取措施控制这种行为。
如果你住在一只确实被认为是麻烦的狗附近,并且你觉得何其主人交谈也自在,那么第一步就这样做。尽管可能会感到尴尬,但有时这是解决问题的最佳方法,大多数人都很欣赏你首先来找他们。狗主人可能没有意识到你的困忧,可以在成为市议会要解决的问题之前采取措施改善情况。或者联系市议会,合规官会进行调查。

威胁性的狗

如果动物管制官员将您的狗归类为威胁性狗,我们会向您发出一份关于狗分类的通知。那么你的狗必须:

  • 除非在车辆或笼子里,在公共场合戴嘴套。
  • 由于行为被归类为威胁性狗,在一个月内进行绝育或经证明不适合绝育。

向被归类为 “威胁性” 的绝育狗提供资金

2017 年,政府提供了资金,为所有根据《狗管制法》被归类为威胁性狗进行绝育,不向狗主人收费。如果你是威胁性品种狗的主人,你会收到一封发送到你地址的信,通知你此事。请注意,这些资金仅用于根据《狗管制法》第 33 条被归类为威胁性狗的绝育,不适用于其他品种的狗。
