      Taranaki

      Taranaki is a coastal and mountainous region on the western side of New Zealand's North Island. Its landscape is dominated by Mount Taranaki, its namesake volcano, which lies within the rainforested Egmont National Park.

      The port city of New Plymouth is the area's cultural and commercial hub. Taranaki's economy is diverse and includes dairy, oil and gas. The region is the highest contributor or national GDP per capita. 

      Wellington

      The West Coast, or as some locals call it, the "Wild West", is a long thin region that runs down the South Island's west coast.

      The region has the lowest population in all of New Zealand. It is famous for its rugged natural scenery such as the Pancake Rocks, the Blue Pools of Haast, and the glaciers.

      The main industries in the region are dairy farming and mining. Tourism also plays an important role.

백그라운드 관계

이 관계는 이스턴 베이 오브 플렌티 공동 위원회 (화카타네, 오포티키, 카웨라우) 의 지도하에 개발되었습니다.

2016년에는 이스턴 베이 국제 전략이 개발되었습니다.이 전략은 국제 참여, 잠재 국제 파트너, 행동 계획 및 성공 방안을 위한 기회를 설명했습니다.

2017년 장시성 (Jiangxi) 은 20개 이상의 잠재적 파트너 목록에서 선정되었습니다.장시 외교 사무소와 이스턴 베이 오브 플렌티 국제 관계 담당자 간의 협상이 개최되었습니다.
