      Taranaki

      Taranaki is a coastal and mountainous region on the western side of New Zealand's North Island. Its landscape is dominated by Mount Taranaki, its namesake volcano, which lies within the rainforested Egmont National Park.

      The port city of New Plymouth is the area's cultural and commercial hub. Taranaki's economy is diverse and includes dairy, oil and gas. The region is the highest contributor or national GDP per capita. 

      Wellington

      The region's only city Invercargill offers a relaxed pace of life with wide streets, little traffic, spacious parks and gardens, striking Victorian and Edwardian architecture and impressive sporting facilities including New Zealand’s first indoor velodrome. Southland's location is such that views of Aurora Australis or the Southern Lights are common.

장애인이 보다 안전하고 접근하기 쉬운 지역을 만들기 위한 목적으로 뉴질랜드 화카타네 지역 의회와 장애 옹호 단체 간에 새로운 협정이 체결되었습니다.화카타네 접근성 및 포용성 신탁 (WAI) 은 지난 주 화카타네 지구 협의회와 양해각서를 체결했다.

WAI는 이전에 시의회와 협력하여 마을 주요 지역의 보도, 연석, 횡단보도를 개선한 바 있다.이 단체는 또한 장애인에게 안전하지 않다고 생각되는 마을의 빨간색 건널목도 해결할 계획입니다.

협약의 일환으로 시의회는 다양성 및 포용 정책을 개발할 예정이며, 이에 대해서는 향후 회의에서 논의할 예정입니다.위원회의 최고 경영자인 스테프 오설리번과 WAI 회원인 그랜트 체이스가 협약에 서명했습니다.
