마운트마웅가누이의 새로운 목적지 스케이트파크 공사가 순조롭게 진행되고 있습니다.프로젝트의 일환으로 철도 노선을 넘어 스케이트파크까지 가는 더 안전한 경로를 보장하기 위해 헐 로드의 횡단보도가 개선되고 있습니다.

이러한 안전 업그레이드의 첫 번째 단계에는 스케이트파크와 뉴턴 스트리트 사이의 보행자와 자전거 이용자를 위한 공유 경로를 넓히고 재정렬하는 작업이 포함됩니다.타우랑가 시의회 대변인에 따르면 헐 로드 철도 노선의 교차점도 보행자를 위한 새로운 점멸등, 새로운 울타리, 선명한 표지판 등을 통해 개선될 것이라고 한다.

업그레이드 작업은 이번 주 초에 시작되었으며 4월 중순까지 완료될 것으로 예상됩니다.월요일부터 금요일까지 오전 7시에서 오후 5시 사이에 진행되는 건설 공사로 인해 지역 사업체 및 주민이 약간의 소음과 진동을 경험할 수 있습니다.해당 지역의 속도 제한 감소를 포함한 교통 관리 조치가 시행될 예정입니다.그러나 대부분의 작업이 둑에서 진행되고 있기 때문에 통근자에게 미치는 영향은 미미해야 합니다.공사 기간 내내 보행자와 자전거 이용자를 위한 접근성이 유지될 것입니다.

새로운 목적지인 스케이트파크 개발은 시의 마지막 장기 계획에 대한 지역사회의 참여를 바탕으로 시작되었습니다.시의회는 도시 전체의 스케이트 시설을 개선하고 확장하기 위해 최선을 다했습니다.면적이 3,000제곱미터가 넘는 이 스케이트파크는 베이 오브 플렌티의 스케이트 커뮤니티 구성원들과 협력하여 설계되었습니다.

새로운 스케이트파크는 스케이트보드와 인라인 스케이트부터 BMX와 스쿠터까지 다양한 활동을 즐길 수 있는 모든 연령과 능력을 수용할 수 있습니다.지역사회의 신체적, 정신적, 사회적 웰빙에 기여할 것으로 기대됩니다.스케이트파크는 마웅가누이 (Maunganui) 와 헐 로드 (Hull Road) 모퉁이의 유명한 장소에 위치해 있습니다. 편의시설, 상점, 해변, 블레이크 파크 (Blake Park) 와 가깝기 때문에 잘 알려져 있습니다.
