Seatbelts
Each year, approximately 90 people are killed on New Zealand roads because they didn’t wear a seatbelt. Many of these lives could’ve been saved if the person had belted up.
It is a legal requirment to ware seatbelts when driving, or being driven. Everyone in the car, regardless if they are in the front or back seats must wear a seatbelt. The driver is responsible for ensuring all passengers follow the law.
