GP 등록
GP를 등록하면 진료 비용을 절약하고 본인과 가족의 건강을 유지할 수 있습니다. 등록은 쉽고 비용이 들지 않습니다. GP에게 진료를 받으면 일반적으로 더 적은 진료비를 내고, 의사가 처방하는 각 보조약에 대해 5NZD를 지불합니다. 이 외에도 다음과 같습니다.

  • 자궁경부, 유방 검사와 같은 예방적 차원의 진료 가능, 자녀 예방접종 시기
  • 당뇨병, 고혈압과 같은 질환 관리나 흡연같은 다양한 건강 관리를 통해 건강한 라이프스타일 형성

등록한 GP와는 수 년 동안 계속 만날 것이기 때문에, 편안하게 느껴지는 GP를 선택해야 합니다. 비용이 얼마인지 꼭 물어보세요.

 

등록 대상
뉴질랜드 시민 또는 거주권자인 경우, 공공 지원 보건 및 장애 서비스의 전범위를 이용할 수 있습니다. 뉴질랜드에 최소 2년 연속으로 체류할 수 있는 취업 비자를 소지한 경우, 또는 뉴질랜드에 2년 이상 체류하는 호주 시민권자 또는 영주권자일 경우에도 일반적으로 그렇습니다. 유학생은 가입 자격이 없으므로 의료보험에 가입해야 합니다.
등록 자격이 없는 경우에도 일반 의원에서 비등록 환자로 GP를 등록하는 것이 유용합니다. 진료비 및 의약품 등의 의료혜택은 받을 수 없으나 가정주치의를 두는 것과 같은 장점이 있습니다.

 

등록 방법
등록 대상이면 무료이며 절차는 어렵지 않습니다. 등록까지 최대 3개월이 소요될 수 있으므로, 건강할 때 미리 등록해두는 것이 좋습니다. 희망하는 의료 기관에 연락하여 GP등록이 가능한지 물어보고, 등록할 때 필요한 신분증과 의료 기록 등을 지참합니다. GP에 등록이 되면 기존의 의료 기록은 새롭게 등록한 GP에게 이전됩니다.
