KiWiRailによると、新しいフェリーは、2030年までに炭素排出量を30パーセント削減し、2050年までにカーボンニュートラルになるという目標を支持する予定です。

ニュージーランドで利用可能な場合は、異なるエネルギー源を使用します。1日目には、ドッキング時にバッテリ動作を行い、各ポートのローカル電源に接続します。

ワイトヒピクトンとウェリントンのアップグレードされたターミナルと組み合わせて、ミラーは、乗客が最高のサービスを受けると確信していると述べた。

KiWiRailは、韓国の造船業者は、ニュージーランド国防軍のHMNZS Aotearoaを含む複雑な船舶の建造経験が数十年にわたる世界第6位であると述べた

政府は予算2020に4億ドルをプロジェクトにコミットし、2019年予算に35万ドルの投資を積みました。
