Concert Chambers
The concert chamber is in the town centre and can accommodate up to 250 people. It is ideal for wedding receptions, meetings, social functions and small exhibitions. Facilities include a small stage and wooden dance floor and a fully equipped kitchen. The concert chamber is available for hire on a regular or casual basis.

Firmin Lodge
This modernised facility is perfect for school groups, event organisers, workshops, conferences, film crews and any general-interest clubs; all looking for an affordable, comfortable and practical lodge style accommodation; in the heart of the Bay of Plenty.
With 60 beds and a commercial-grade kitchen, this facility is ideal for groups looking to explore whatever level of adventure you seek, whilst keeping the cost down.
Ron Hardie Recreation Centre
The recreation centre is a modern, multi-functional facility with a large parking area. This substantial stadium is excellent for indoor sporting events, exhibitions and large entertainment functions and is used year-round. Badminton, basketball and volleyball are among the sporting codes that make good use of the centre. It is also hired out for one-off events such as the New Zealand Darts Championships and a concert by international singer John Rowles.
It has a mezzanine level, an additional large meeting room and a kitchen. There is tiered seating for 360 people.

Maurie Kjar Aquatic Centre
The Maurie Kjar Aquatic Centre are Kawerau’s free, heated pool complex, in the middle of Kawerau, opposite the Kawerau i-Site. There is a 30m pool divided by a bulkhead into a 25m pool and a 5m pool, and two smaller pools for children. The whole complex is surrounded by large recreation and play areas where barbecue and picnic tables are available for families and larger groups.
Town Hall
One of the town’s oldest buildings, the town hall can seat a maximum of 520 people and is mainly used for stage shows. It has a large stage with dressing room facilities, spotlights, a Steinway piano available for hire and a carpeted foyer/ticket box. There is also a kitchen and central heating.
