미국 4월 소비자물가지수 (CPI) 가 연간 4.9% 상승하여 전망치인 5% 를 하회한 것으로 나타나자 통화 바스켓 대비 달러화를 측정하는 미국 달러 지수는 0.6% 하락했습니다.

이로 인해 뉴질랜드 달러의 매력이 높아져 63.24c에서 63.85센트로 급등했습니다.

현재 시장은 연방준비은행이 1년 넘게 금리를 인상하지 않은 것은 이번이 처음이며, 100베이시스 포인트의 “매우 공격적인” 금리 인하는 내년 초까지 책정될 것으로 예상하고 있다고 그는 말했다.

뉴질랜드 시장은 이번 달 중앙은행 공식 기준금리를 25bp 인상하여 기준금리를 5.5% 로 인상하여 가격을 전액 책정했습니다.

미국 인플레이션 보고서에 이어 목요일 트레이더들은 중앙은행 금리 인하에 대한 베팅을 수요일 160bp에서 165bp로 연장했습니다.

트레이더들은 이제 금요일에 발표될 예정인 중앙은행 (RBA) 의 인플레이션 기대치 조사를 앞두고 있을 것으로 보입니다.

벤치마크 S&P/NZX 50 지수는 목요일 0.8% (99.539포인트) 하락하여 11,887.76으로 하락했습니다.

은퇴 마을 주가는 지난 수요일 상무위원회가 은퇴 마을의 공정 거래법 위반 가능성에 대한 조사를 시작한다고 밝힌 후 하락했습니다.

스틸 앤 튜브는 1.9% 하락한 1.03달러로 이번 주 하락폭을 2.8% 로 연장했습니다.
