      Taranaki is a coastal and mountainous region on the western side of New Zealand's North Island. Its landscape is dominated by Mount Taranaki, its namesake volcano, which lies within the rainforested Egmont National Park.

      The port city of New Plymouth is the area's cultural and commercial hub. Taranaki's economy is diverse and includes dairy, oil and gas. The region is the highest contributor or national GDP per capita. 

      Wellington

      The region has the lowest population in all of New Zealand. It is famous for its rugged natural scenery such as the Pancake Rocks, the Blue Pools of Haast, and the glaciers.

      The main industries in the region are dairy farming and mining. Tourism also plays an important role.

      The region's only city Invercargill offers a relaxed pace of life with wide streets, little traffic, spacious parks and gardens, striking Victorian and Edwardian architecture and impressive sporting facilities including New Zealand’s first indoor velodrome. Southland's location is such that views of Aurora Australis or the Southern Lights are common.

청각 장애인과 난청 커뮤니티를 위해 베이 오브 플렌티에서 처음으로 공개 자막이 있는 영화 상영회가 열립니다.이 행사는 히어링 서포트 베이 오브 플렌티와 소닉 시네마의 콜라보레이션입니다.4월 28일 일요일 오후 1시 30분에 히스토릭 빌리지 시네마에서 ‘더 듀크’를 상영할 예정입니다.

영화 전체에 자막이 있어 난청이 있는 사람들도 이야기를 더 쉽게 따라갈 수 있습니다.청력 지원 BOP 타우랑가 (BOP Tauranga) 의 관리자인 헬렌 로저스 (Helen Rodgers) 는 난청이 있는 사람들이 영화에서 일부 소리를 들을 수는 있지만 말을 이해하는 것은 어려울 수 있으며 줄거리의 일부를 놓치는 경우가 많다고 말합니다.

자신의 청각 장애 때문에 약 20년 동안 영화관에 가본 적이 없는 헬렌은 이 행사에 대해 매우 흥분하고 있습니다.그녀는 일부 영화관에서는 난청이 있는 사람들을 위한 필사 장치를 제공하지만 보통 화면에 자막을 넣지 않는다고 말합니다.
