카드웰은 약사가 약물을 주의 깊게 확인하고 이러한 오류를 방지하기 위한 절차를 따라야 한다고 강조했습니다.그녀는 약사에게 아기의 부모에게 사과하고 어린이 처방에 대한 교육을 이수할 것을 권고했습니다.또한 그녀는 약국에 한 달에 걸쳐 50개의 처방전을 무작위로 감사하여 적절한 조제 절차를 따르는지 확인할 것을 제안했습니다.

또한 보고서에는 해당 약사가 추가 조치를 위해 약국위원회에 회부되었다고 명시되어 있습니다.
